The Provincial Community Day was celebrated on 13th November 2008. The programme began with tea at the campus of the Cathedral Parish, Guwahati, at 4.00 p.m. followed by the Eucharistic celebration in the Cathedral Church at 5.30 p.m. Archbishop Thomas Menamparampil presided over the Holy Eucharist. At the end of the Holy Mass, there was a felicitation programme in the Parish Hall below the Cathedral Church. The celebration came to a conclusion with a fellowship meal in the Provincial House lawn. The occasion coincided with the conclusion of the Silver Jubilee celebration of the BRO.
